The Reason Creative Teams Animate With claudemotion
Every clip is composed as code, letting headlines, figures, diagrams and photos glide together like a produced short video.
- Animations Written as CodeEach claudemotion piece is generated as a motion-template artifact, which is exactly why headlines, numbers, charts and pictures stay perfectly in step.
- Not a Footage EngineNo video-generation model sits behind claudemotion: you get moving type, charts, shapes and images — never photoreal people or filmed scenes.
- Tweak One Thing, Keep the RestA single adjustment carries far: change one word, one figure or one timing beat and the rest of the claudemotion timeline holds its shape.
From Prompt to MP4: How claudemotion Works
Three short steps separate a rough idea from a shareable MP4.
What claudemotion Brings to Your Workflow
Grounded prompts, chat-driven revisions, hands-on editor control and admin switches — the pieces claudemotion adds to team production.
Built From Your Own Material
Attach the report, dataset or images claudemotion should work from, then state the audience, the screen size and the rough running time.
Revise Through Conversation
The chat doubles as an edit box: ask for a slower second scene or a fresh Q3 figure and claudemotion hands the clip back updated.
Fine-Tune the Animation Directly
Would you rather work by hand? Adjust the animation straight in the editor instead of putting the change into words.
All Stored in Artifacts
Nothing disappears: completed claudemotion clips sit in the Artifacts tab right beside your decks, docs and dashboards.
Owner Switches and Group Limits
Find the toggle under Organization settings > Artifacts — on by default for Team, off for Enterprise, where custom roles can restrict access further.
Deducted From Plan Usage
Metered just like every other feature: claudemotion draws on your plan allowance, and a dense or lengthy animation costs more than one message.
claudemotion Questions, Answered
Straight answers on availability, output type, storage and exporting.
Which plans unlock claudemotion?
It is still in beta. Team workspaces get it switched on automatically, while Enterprise admins must enable it under Organization settings > Artifacts.
Can claudemotion produce live-action footage?
No — photoreal people and filmed scenes sit outside its scope. claudemotion animates type, charts, shapes and images instead.
Where can I find my finished animations?
Each render is filed in the Artifacts tab alongside your other work, so you can reopen and keep refining it whenever you like.
Can I update just one figure?
Absolutely. Edit that single word, number or timing beat and the rest of the claudemotion animation stays exactly where it was.
What is the export and sharing process?
Choose Export, then MP4 to save the file. New clips stay private until you use Share to bring other viewers in.
Do renders use up my plan allowance?
Yes. claudemotion is metered like any other feature, and longer or denser animations consume more than a standard message.
Create Your First claudemotion Animation
Open a chat or the Artifacts tab, choose the Motion template and describe the clip you want. Owners switch claudemotion on under Organization settings > Artifacts.
