Built for Teams That Explain Things Visually

Reuse the decks, spreadsheets and process notes you already have — Claude Motion recasts them as moving clips you can play, download or pass around.

  • Rendered from Code, Not Stock Footage
Every clip begins as an artifact built on the Motion template — living code that animates whatever text, charts, shapes or images you feed it.
  • Edit One Line Without Breaking the Rest
Because the output is code, swapping a single word, figure or scene timing leaves the rest of the sequence completely undisturbed.
  • Everything Lands in Your Artifacts Tab
Finished clips file themselves away in the Artifacts tab automatically, sitting right alongside the rest of your Claude work.

Three Steps to a Finished Claude Motion Clip

Go from a rough idea to a shareable animation with Claude Motion in three quick moves.

What Claude Motion Can Do for You

From choosing a Motion template to saving an MP4, Claude Motion covers the explainers, chart rundowns and walkthroughs teams ask for most.

Start from the Motion Template

Open the Artifacts tab, pick the Motion template and spell out the clip you have in mind.

Tell It Who's Watching and for How Long

Naming your viewers, where the clip will play and a target length helps Claude Motion tighten the final result.

Bring Your Own Files and Figures

Add a deck, a dataset or a screenshot so the clip is drawn from your actual content rather than guesswork.

Made for Short Explanations and Charts

Brief formats work best: company-wide updates, revenue visuals for leadership, and step-by-step onboarding sequences.

Save Your Work as MP4

Once the clip is ready, the Export menu lets you download it as a standard MP4 file.

Private Until You Choose to Share

Fresh clips stay visible to you alone; sharing is your call, while admins control whether links can travel outside the company.

FAQ

Claude Motion Questions, Answered

Quick answers to what people ask most about Claude Motion.

1

Which subscription tiers come with Claude Motion, and is it switched on automatically?

It ships in beta for Team and Enterprise. Team accounts get it switched on out of the box, while Enterprise admins must activate it before anyone can use it.

2

As an admin, how do I turn Claude Motion on or off for my company?

Look under Organization settings, in the Artifacts section. On Enterprise, owners can also limit access to specific groups through custom roles.

3

Will Claude Motion produce lifelike video or real people?

Not at all. Text, charts, shapes and images are animated through code, so no realistic humans or filmed scenes are ever created.

4

Where do my finished animations live?

They are filed in the Artifacts tab automatically, and that same tab is where you begin a fresh clip from the Motion template.

5

What's the process for downloading or sharing a clip?

Pick Export and then MP4 to store the file. Until you open a clip and press Share, only you can see it.

6

Do these animations eat into my plan's usage allowance?

They do. Clips count against the same allowance as your other Claude activity, and intricate ones use up more than a standard message.

Ready to Animate Your First Idea?

Head to a chat or the Artifacts tab, select the Motion template and describe the explainer, chart rundown or walkthrough you need. On Enterprise, an owner may have to switch it on first.
